Ask Me Anything: Understanding USDA and WIC Programs for Organizations

Recently, Whitney Carlson, Senior Manager, Recruitment & Retention at the National WIC Association, joined two representatives from the Food, Nutrition and Consumer Services at United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Dr. Caree Jackson Cotwright, Director of Nutrition Security and Health Equity, and Shavana Howard, Senior Advisor, to share information about existing programs, recent innovations, and helpful resources for WIC and SNAP. The August 1st webinar also introduced attendees to a brand-new public-private partnership between Delaware and r4 technologies to reduce food waste, shared by Jen Rini, the Communications Director for the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
